Vocation
I am the worst sales person over this world and I am not ashamed to say it. I guess not every body has the ability, or I could say art, to deal with this kind of business. When I came to this country I started working (for the first time in my whole life) for my family in one of their furniture store. The building, the people and the merchandise was beautiful and I felt like home again; the problem came when I had my first customer. Obviously my primary dilemma was the language; I wasn’t sure of my English, well actually, my really bad spoken English. But I decided to take the risk and I became a sales person. I don’t know if it was the mentality I came from Cuba with, or if it was my personality, but nor that day neither three months later I sold a simple lamp. Yes, you can laugh now but then I felt very frustrated. Almost at the end of the fourth month I quitted because I realized the job wasn’t for me and I aimed my expectations toward something different, Real Estate. Hey, I know what you are thinking, this is also a sales market but I felt it was for me and I was right. Now I am a certify licensee, so if you need to sell or buy a house, you know where to find me.
